Experience: Wilma has been playing the bagpipes for twenty three years. During this time she studied music at the University of Strathclyde and bagpipes was her principle instrument.

Wilma is a fully qualified bagpipe instructor and has now been teaching for a number of years, putting pupils through RSPBA exams and school music exams.

Wilma is currently the Pipe Major of the Royal Burgh of Inverkeithing Pipe Band. She’s played in Grades 1 and 2 during her career and she was also active on the solo piping circuit. Wilma has played on a few CDs and also in various countries as part of bands such as Dysart & Dundonald, Boghall & Bathgate and also as a soloist.

Wilma is also the Fife Branch Music Rep for the RSPBA and has arranged miniband / solo drumming contests and organised workshops teaching other players in Fife.
